Shortly after Ross and Rachel’s daughter, Emma, is born, Monica and Chandler continue to try to have a child of their own but discover that they are unlikely to conceive when they go to a fertility specialist. Towards the end of the season Rachel finds herself developing romantic feelings for Joey after having a dream about the two of them together.
